1. Operator details

The website rivorestaurant.ro ("the Site") is operated by:

VIKING SRL, VAT ID (CUI) 22759290, Trade Register no. J05/2891/2007, EUID ROONRC.J5/2891/2007, registered office Aleea Ștrandului 3, 410541 Oradea, Bihor, Romania. Email: privacy@rivorestaurant.ro.

In this document, VIKING SRL is referred to as "RIVO", "we" or "the Operator", and the user of the Site as "User" or "you".

2. Acceptance of terms

Accessing and using the Site implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any provision, please do not use the Site.

We may update these Terms to reflect legislative, technical or operational changes. The applicable version is the one published on the Site at the time of access; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged visibly on the Site with reasonable advance notice.

3. Purpose of the Site

The Site is informational and presents the activity of RIVO Restaurant & Lounge: menu, events, spaces and contact information. Through the Site you may:

• view the menu and restaurant information;
• request a table reservation via the dedicated form;
• contact the restaurant by email or phone.

The Site is not an e-commerce platform. No online payments are processed and no products or services are sold directly via the Site.

4. Reservations

A reservation request submitted via the Site form is a request, not a confirmation. The reservation becomes valid only upon express confirmation by RIVO staff, communicated by phone or another agreed means.

Data submitted via the reservation form (name, phone, date, time, number of guests, notes) is used solely to process the request. For details on processing, see the Privacy Policy.

RIVO reserves the right to refuse or cancel a reservation in case of unavailability, suspected fraudulent use or breach of restaurant rules.

Cancellation and no-show. Please call +40 770 444 445 at least 2 hours in advance if you wish to cancel or modify a reservation. No no-show fee currently applies; however, RIVO reserves the right to limit future reservations in case of repeated no-shows.

5. Intellectual property rights

All elements of the Site (text, images, photos, logo, graphics, structure, source code) are the property of VIKING SRL or its partners and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Reproduction, distribution, modification, publication or use of the content for commercial purposes, without RIVO's prior written consent, is prohibited.

The "RIVO" trademark and associated logo are protected. Unauthorised use constitutes infringement of intellectual property rights.

6. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site in accordance with applicable law and in good faith. The following are prohibited:

• attempts to gain unauthorised access to the Site or related systems;
• submitting false or fraudulent data, or data that infringes the rights of others;
• use of bots, scrapers or other automated means without consent;
• any action that may affect the operation of the Site or the experience of other users.

7. Limitation of liability

RIVO makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published on the Site is accurate and up to date but does not guarantee its completeness or accuracy. The menu, prices, schedule and events may change without prior notice.

To the extent permitted by law, RIVO is not liable for:

• temporary unavailability of the Site or technical errors;
• indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Site;
• the content of third-party sites linked from the Site.

8. External links

The Site may contain links to third-party sites (social networks, maps, partners). RIVO does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies or practices of such sites.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be settled amicably; failing that, the competent courts at RIVO's registered office in Oradea, Romania shall apply.

Consumer rights. If you use the Site as a consumer domiciled in the European Union, this clause does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence, nor of your right under Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 (Brussels I recast) to bring proceedings in the courts of your domicile.
